DB electrical alternator 105A - 94 Prostar

Does anyone know if this alternator will work with the current brackets on a 5.7 Indmar TBI:

Here is what my current one looks like:

I found the batt wire corroded and it snapped the post.

For what it is worth, I bought a 105 from DB for my 351W ( I realize its a diff motor) and it works great as advertised. No complaints thus far...fit perfect

Sweet, thanks guys. I didn't want to spend 200 on 51A. I bought a high torque mini starter from DB years ago for my car and it works great.

I guess I'll just tape up the purple exciter wire since it won't be used.

It's replacing a 51A stock. The only issue I see is if the stock Batt wire can handle your load requirements. My loading is stock and has not changed so therefore I did not upgrade the wire.

Now, if I added accessories, amps, etc....I would calculate the amperage and size the Batt wire from Alt to power distribution point appropriately.

I'm still running the 51A alternate and do have accessories (Neons, Amps, etc.) and two batteries. I recently had the alternator rebuilt but I still feel I am not getting the juice I need to power the stuff and keep the batteries charged. Especially when I'm running at night and the perfect pass keeps resetting unless I give it a little gas...
