DB electrical alternator 105A - 94 Prostar
Does anyone know if this alternator will work with the current brackets on a 5.7 Indmar TBI:
http://www.dbelectrical.com/p-3609-n...e-adr0334.aspx Here is what my current one looks like: http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=RA097006 I found the batt wire corroded and it snapped the post. |

For what it is worth, I bought a 105 from DB for my 351W ( I realize its a diff motor) and it works great as advertised. No complaints thus far...fit perfect

Sweet, thanks guys. I didn't want to spend 200 on 51A. I bought a high torque mini starter from DB years ago for my car and it works great.
I guess I'll just tape up the purple exciter wire since it won't be used. |

Now, if I added accessories, amps, etc....I would calculate the amperage and size the Batt wire from Alt to power distribution point appropriately.
