Axis w/Surf gate.... sure it's big / but zero push.... absolutely zero push. That's my biggest complaint with riding behind the Malibu, the Axis, and well Epic (custom tab) - all throw a big wake, but you gotta work for it towards the end of the pocket.

I'm in the same boat, shopping for an x15, x30 - or even moving to the Enzo....

If you're planning on surfing a lot, dont consider the 15.

I threw a quick video together from that day to show the wake. We were riding between 65-70ft, 22.2-22.5Mph. Please excuse all the heel side jumps, didn't get anything t/s decent on camera. It's a great wake for beginners too because it's not too steep. Lots of fun!

Wow Nice!!

And I know Aric, does not like the 15 for surf, but I honestly had my 15 working pretty well for surfing, not sure if it was just weighting it correctly or what, but several commented on how much they liked the surf. I personally do more wake boarding, and thus, I have 2008 X-star now.

Thanks, ohh and did not mean that you did not try stuff, just really had a nice surf wake with my 15. Sorry to hear yours did not work. I read through a thread somewhere here where you had posted about your issues, if I recall.

Wow, very sorry to hear that. I guess I deal with Midwest MasterCraft for everything, albeit 4 hours away, and my local dealer is 5 blocks away from my office. My local dealer is HORRIBLE....I could go on for DAYS about how much they suck.

My local dealer went leaps and bounds for me. Texas Mastercraft is great! they accepted warranty claim after warranty claim. wont buy a new MC until
1) out of college and can actually afford one
2) they aren't mega pieces of crap and corporate will actually stand behind their product instead of pretending they havent heard anything about the boat.
