Medallion Instrumentation Board Out - HELP!

Turned ignition on today and medallion instrument panel will not come on. Worked fine 5 days ago. Checked fuses turned battery off and back on; still won't come on. Any suggestions??

Sounds like your MMDC failed.

possibly disconnect the battery at the post for at least 5 minutes and check connections on the back of the instrument panel

I know it says you turned off the battery but try disconnecting it directly just to eliminate any possibilities of residual power

Turns out it was indeed a blown fuse....even though I was told on the phone 2 weeks ago today that fuses were not involved. Maybe hard rain had somehow gotten into panel where fuses are and blown the fuse. Our instrument panel had not given any trouble until this point. So, if your gauges work but your medallion instrument panel does NOT come on when you turn the key.....looks at the fuses! Lesson learned!

Good for you an easy fix...was the fuse easily accessible?..Just another great story for this forum that you should really understand the systems of your boat - no matter what year...

I'm picking the boat up from the dealership this afternoon and going to have them show me specifically where these fuses are because out of desperation 2 weeks ago, late on a Friday, I was trying to find fuses even though I was told "IT'S NOT A FUSE PROBLEM"! I'll post extactly where the fuses are located for a 2011 Maristar.

The fuse panel is well hidden. If you go in front of the driver in bow and left the back of the seat where you would store stuff, there's a hidden door covered in carpet that would be about under the medallion instrument panel. There are normal (Car) like fuses in there. The panel door is hard to recognize. It folds in the middle and you pull it loose. It's big so you think it's just the back of the gauges, steering wheel, instrument panel. I'll get a picture when I go back up to lake.
