Starboard ballast reads full??

I noticed this weekend the ballast levels on my Vdig screen were stuck on full(starboard). I know the tank is empty, I emptied it on the trailer. Is there a way to rest? Is there a sensor inside the tank that may have to be replaced. Thanks in advance.

There is a float for each tank. For the rears it is in the rear locker, you will find a small carpeted access panel, remove the screws and under it is the float. The float could be stuck, possible loose wire on the sender or the sender is bad. (Most likely)

On my '09, I had one that never showed completely full. I never found any calibration screw for he float

Starboard ballast reads full??

Anyone have a part number for port ballast tank sensor on 09 x2 MCX. Cost and online place to order. Mine is filling and emptying but vdig shows 1/4 full all the time.

Update. My issue turned out to be a stuck float. Took it out and cleaned up the float and the shaft it travels on and works fine now.

Hey, new to team talk but I have a 2009 x-star that I just bought. I have the fly high ballast system installed. I can watch the KGB tank fill and empty no problem. The port and starboard ballast however are shown full all the time on the VDIG but I'm pretty sure they're empty. All the fly high bags fIll and empty fine but I have no idea if the stock port and starboard tanks fill. Could this be the floats you guys were mentioning. How do I get to them on an 09?

They are easy to get to. Unscrew cover over tanks, the sending units are right on the top. I had the same issue and realize that I had actually somewhat caved in my tanks from having too much ballast over the top of them and bent the sending unit. The tanks actually wound up being OK but I had to purchase new sending unit which were not cheap. I cannot remember the name of the brand but it is on the tag on the wire harness. It was much easier just to call the company than Mastercraft.
