blue vs red MCX

what is the difference between the blue and red MCX engines?

blue were only available on 04 TT boats

I think there is really no difference between the engines... I had a 2005 Prostar 197TT and it had the blue MCX.... I think shortly thereafter they came out in red.... I am sure someone here will have the exact details...

Red is typically a faster color.

I have an '05 and to my knowledge it was the only year the blue was offered. No differences.

was in an 13 supra and it had a blue "MCX" in it. not sure what they call it but it was the same.

Someone told me that you're more likely to be pulled over with the red. Be careful.
