First boat

Hey guys. New to the site. just bought a 1989 prostar 190. I had a few questions i am sure people on here would be able to help me with. First, anyone from the bay area know a good place to get the interior redone on my boat? its pretty weathered and there are several cracks. Also, i have been looking around at different waxes and products to get rid of the oxidation on the exterior. anyone have any suggestions on good prodects? thanks!

Congrats on the new boat, you will get a wealth of knowledge from this site. I don't know a good place in the Bay Area but will be interested to hear. I want to get my rear seat and observers seat bases redone this off season.

Great looking boat -- even though it looks very "Ohio Stateish"!

Can't wait to see you get her all polished up!

Great looking boat! Try 3M Imperial rubbing compound and 3M finesse it polishing compound, followed by a good wax. There are several more detailed threads on this subject so just do a quick search and you will find buffer recommendations and wet sanding instructions, if it should require it. I just bought some of the rubbing compound and have done some test spots with good results. Good luck and welcome!

Wrong thread, but since you brought it up...

What was the Texas score Saturday???

And the boat looks great. Cool paint. Is that paint? Or stickers over the normal gel scheme?
