Sounds like it was fortunate that the boat was borrowed and that the owner may not have been present when the officer was demonstrating his great people skills ...

What if that cop did the same Sarsky & Hutch manouver on land with a cop car and lost control and cuased an accident would be reckless. There is NO need to show off and power turn in a no wake zone like that.

Because she has class! If the police officer had some class, none of this would have happened in the first place.

One of the first rules for a first responder is to not become a victim or cause more casualties ..... This officer is lucky that no one was on the boat or boarding the boat when he pulled this move.

He needs to take a boater's safety course and be more humble .....yelling to "relax" cost him style points ....

That could have turned out worst .... That boat owner is a classy person.

First rule of a boat captain. Never lose control of your vessel ....
That was my first question. If you are that close to a dock or shore, wouldn't you be more careful or cognoscente of your surroundings when taking off to answer a 'distress call'? And then to act the way he did telling that guy to 'RELAX', I hope he gets fired. What an a$$hole!

I can't hear the audio at work, but if I understand correctly he was going to answer a distress call? Why was he speeding towards that dock so fast if he needed to go the other direction?

Because POWER TURN yo!! Seriously I was wondering that myself. He also came much too close to the anchored boat on his way out.
