wakeboarding is on the first wave to! So that's a crime in that state. Anybody who says surfing is boring has never tried it Ropeless! It's a blast low impact and everyone can enjoy it!

Clearly BS, but disturbing nonetheless.

Oh boy I got a great laugh out of that one!!

Here is a picture from the inland rules of the road definition of a vessel,

We've got people that live on the lakes around here that want nothing more than nobody but themselves using the lakes. The three lakes near me recently passed rules that skiing is now allowed at 9 am instead of 11 am has it has been for decades. Several people on the lake near me are complaining up storm about it and they are literally reporting people that ski minutes before the 9 am start. And they are at the ready to complain when sunset hits (the other end of the time limit). They have worked to shut down slalom courses and any jumps or ramps, even ones stored on land and towed out, used for a day, and then put away.

Surfing is just the newest and easiest way for them to complain and point a finger. Some people have nothing better to do.

There was no attached inland rules of the road w/ your post, but I'm familiar with the definition. And I'd agree, trying to define a surfer as a "vessel" is preposterous, but this is gov't we're talking about here!

This keeps going on and on and on. As long as there are cranky lakeshore owners there will always be a fight or two going on. Right now there is an old geezer that sits watching every boat and the exact time they are traveling on plane. Last Monday night I did my part by driving right by his house pulling my kid and the exact minute of official sundown I throttled down. He was watching me and I was watching him.

What is it about lakefront property owners that makes them so crotchity? Who do these wads complain to when the wind whips up and throws whitecaps at the shore? If you can't handle living lakefront, sell your place to me!

I don't get the surfing craze myself and the cost associated with buying a surf boat. I rather buy a ski boat and spend the balance on trips to Hawaii to surf.

However I really want to try it and as bad as it wrecks the water and shoreline , we need to keep this legal.

We need the surfers dumpin 100g's on boats so MC has money to spend making ski boats. We camt let th outlaw surfing as it can potentially threaten all watersports , you know the ones that require talent ! LOL.
