2008 Mastercraft X1 Help.

Well I am looking at buying this boat. I just sold my Malibu, looking for a new ride. So I come across this in my home town. I don't know a lot about these boats other then they seem really nice. Here is a little run down of the boat. Its a 2008 Mastercraft X1 wakeboard edition. Its had two owners in its lifetime and has 179 hours on it. The boat was always serviced at local Mastercraft dealer. It has the RTP engine, options include tower speakers/lights, 4 speaker sound system, bimini top, swivel board racks, custom cover, cruise control, rear ballast has been upgraded to two 750 fly high bags, 4 flush mount tie offs, flip up seat with swivel, quick detach tounge on trailer, also has hydraulic or electric ( not sure) wake plate. I think that's about it?? The boat is in very nice shape interior is mint, exterior is near mint. There are a couple scuffs on transom from boards. I am looking for a fair value on this boat. I am ready to pull the trigger but I am wondering if the price is right? I can get into the boat for 35,400.

That's a good price, based on other X1's that have been posted here. Good looking boat too.

Provided it checks out mechanically and visually, that is a good price. You need to get with the dealer and ask them to give you the Tower Braces (this should be a no charge item). MC put braces on those towers around 2008 to help with the shake.

I bought an 08 X1 earlier this season and gave a few thousand more than this. It does not have the trim tab or upgraded ballast, but only had 49 hours on it. I would say that is a good deal for sure.

That is one good looking X1!! Good price too.

You probably already know this, but the X1 is the Gen 1 X star.
