2014 X25 wake at low speeds

Hey sorry to post again, I have just sold a 2008 x2 and was really happy with the wake etc at the time but its time to upgrade, I kind of have my heart set on a new x25 however reading the forums I am a little bit worried that the wake sounds really steep and therefore the wake will curl over when we drive a bit slower for my wife, she can ride she just rides a bit slower 20-21 what do you think the wake will be like and what is the best way to clean up the wake? Attitude adjustment plate, weight in the front?

Also what is the g23 like at low speeds?

Comparison is with an X30, rather than 25, but still lots of feedback on the G23.

I haven't witnessed it, but the G supposedly has a clean wake as slow as 16mph if you leave the ballast tanks empty.

25's wake is clean all the way down to 18.0. And the wake doesn't curl over, it stays clean with speed and wake, it's just steep. Great for pro's, not so much for me.

Wake at 20 to 21 will be clean with no ballast, at 17 it is all wash. Center plate down helps for sure. Do not get a 25 without it, all the V-Drives for that matter IMO.

I am an okay wakeboarder, can do 3's, tantrums, backrolls, scarecrows, but by no stretch of the imagination am i a gun or anything like that, this steep wake is starting to make me think this boat is not going to be the best for me, is the X2 considered to have a mellow wake? i just havent ridden behind a great deal of boats, i dont like SAN 210, 230 i feel like the wake was too steep and washed out (may have been how boat was setup) and besides that i rode behind my X2 for years and loved it, felt like it was a very easy boat to ride behind, what should i consider?

If it was me, I would go with the X25. You can always use the wake plate if you think it's to steep, but based on the tricks your able to pull, I doubt you will find it to steep. My wife rides at 18-19 with no issues and it's clean all the way back.

sweet X25 it is will post some pics when i buy one within the next week or so! i thought about it and you can always weight the boat differently to get the wake how you want it anyway, whether thats weight at the front back, combination of weight and wake plate, only thing i wish MC had was a better surf system!

Another owner told me a bunch of bow weight mellows the wake. Haven't tested it yet but he posted some pretty deadly pics...
