We did not go up to the cottage and the weather was crap...Friday it poured and then Saturday was iffy...cleaned the house and pool and the phone started ringing off the hook...so everyone came over on Sunday for bean bag tournament and major drinking...

We still got time...water is not cold yet...just slowly running out of daylight...
The weekend before and the weekend after a holiday weekend is usually great.

I gotta say normally I would agree. However the past 2 years we hit up 4th of July and Labor Day on a huge lake and it was empty. This past weekend I was able to board almost all day long every day. We fully expected to head in after the morning set, but just ended up floating around all day because it never got busy. An ocassional tuber flew thru but that was it. Similar on the 4th too. I was shocked. The ramp was a nightmare , but I just rent a il for the weekend.

LOL - thanks! I ended my diving on Saturday with 2 dives where I was within 25-30 ft of 10 ft hammerheads! I got a video! Posting when I get home!

My deepest dive this week? Whew - a deep one... On my way home to Texas tonight, it will be strange putting shoes on again to go to work...

When you refer to hammerheads, I assume you aren't describing members of Team Talk.
