X25-I am New to surfing Need Help

I just purchased my new Mastercraft X25 before this I had an X2 and did not surf behind it. The problem I am having with the new boat is getting a great surf wake or even a decent one. When it comes to wakeboarding it is awesome but for some reason the surf wake is not to large at all. I am having the dealer install 450lbs in each back ski locker as we speak. So here is my question, I surf on the Port side what percentage should I put each, the middle tab and each of the surf tabs. Also do you folks have the perfect launch on or off? Currently I am also using a speed of 10.8 I know it is going to be different for alot of people but I mainly was wanting a starting point and then can fine tune to my style from there THanks

Surf

Fill the port full, the middle full and start at 9.8 mph. If you have an additional bag on the port side fill it up too. I don't use any middle plate and don't have surf tabs on my boat so you can play with the surf tabs to see what you like. I hear some people love them and others don't even use them even though they have them.

Stick with the link scottsx2 provided, it's the perfect setup for the x25. Also if you want to get rid of any wash on the lip you should go between 11-12 mph.

A good low weight wake will be stock center and stock surf side then fill that 450. Center plate down 40% and tab down 100%. Go 11.2 port and 11.4 starboard. This is our set up though we normally have lots of people in the boat (8 or more). With less people ill fill extra bags under cooler seat and coffin.

Secret to the X25 is a bit more speed, as mentioned, 11mph +.

I always used auto launch. I don't think I ever turned it off this summer.

Hate to sound dumb but would I put the surf tab a 100 percent on the port or starboard side if I am surfing on the port side?

100% down on starboard side if you are surfing port side. Set it as a profile then it will always do it automatically.

we fill the KGB full. 540 sac in the bow, we have the 450 extra in the rear compartment that is plumbed in. We go 10.5mph. AA plate for the port is 30%. If you want the wake to be really really good put some weight under the port side bench. I put another 540 in there but i've heard others putting up to another 1000 lbs in there.

If you can't surf with that set up you should give up surfing.
