FS: 2006 Mastercraft X-Star 8.1 Red/White Graffiti

Injuries over the years are starting to catch up, so we've decided the "responsible" thing to do is sell our beloved X-Star. It's truly an eye-catcher with the red/white graffiti graphics (visually, it's my personal favorite boat/graphics combination out there).

Price: $45,000
Location: Boise, Idaho
Contact email: nick_petterson@outlook.com

Year / Make / Model: 2006 Mastercraft X-Star
Color / Graphics: Red & White Graffiti
Engine / Power: The big one! 8.1L 450 hp
Hours: ~450 (I will confirm & edit)
Prop: High Altitude, Low Speed - perfect for heavy loads (I will confirm model & edit)
Length: 22'6"
Fuel Capacity: 53 Gallons
Seating Capacity: 12 people or 1,770 lbs
Ballast: 900 lbs in-floor hard tanks

If you are looking for a boat to throw up a killer wake for wakeboarding, the Mastercraft X-Star is arguably the best; it has long been the baseline that other wakes are compared to.

The good:
  • Large 8.1L Engine - 450 hp ($10k factory upgrade option)
  • Killer upgraded sound system:
    • Fusion MS-IP700i head-unit w/ USB & Bluetooth (set up for 3 zones: bow, cabin, towers)
    • Fusion MS-NRX200i wired-remote (2 each: 1 in cockpit, 1 on rear deck)
    • Wet Sounds REV10 Tower Speakers (1 pair)
    • Wet Sounds XS-12 Subwoofer w/ Custom Engineered Enclosure
    • JL Audio M880 (1 pair, bow)
    • JL Audio stock speakers (2 pairs, cockpit)
    • Wet Sounds SD6 Amplifier
    • Wet Sounds SD4 Amplifier
    • Dual Batteries w/ Selector Switch
  • Comes with trailer
    • Brakes have been completely replaced a few years ago
    • Upgraded the factory Boat Buddy to the Ramp n' Clamp
    • Upgraded trailer jack to a Fulton
  • Exterior Condition: 8.5/10
  • Runs Great
  • Freshwater Only
  • Stored Indoors
  • Oil changed nearly every year
  • Can include a brand new Fly High Pro X Integrated Ballast System for $800, uninstalled (1,900 lbs of additional, plumbed in ballast)

The "bad":
  • Interior Condition: 7/10. While the upholstery was replaced ~7 years ago, there are a couple of minor tears or places where the seam is coming undone (will update with pictures)
  • The rear starboard ballast tank is taking a while to fill up. We are currently having this fixed
  • We are currently trying to locate and fix the source of a small leak

I will get more pictures uploaded when we bring the boat back from the shop.

We had a couple of random seasons with VERY light use. The oil didn't show any signs of degradation. Oil was changed every year other than those.
