Yea I ride goofy and getting a boat with a better goofy side than regular requires a different prop rotation. I will always be doomed unless I go with a MFG that offers that (which some do)

Also saw the surf info. I saw some of the pages at my dealer. I posted it in another thread. MC has done a write up for each of their wakeboats and pre printed optimal surf speeds, ballast and tab settings for each model. Good stuff

I switched to an ACME 1285 this past weekend ... Didn't change the SB surf wave but the boat had more power (thrust) at slower -and mid range speeds (0-10mph right through to 30mph).

Lower RPM's for surfing led to better fuel mileage, but I can't quantify by how much, need to fill up again and compare.

On the opposite drive, I'd check the models... Someone posted here on that a while back. ACME makes a 1284 that would be perfect in that scenario.

Winter project for me to look into. Along with massive transfer pumps.

I wonder what pumps they've changed to? I'd love to upgrade my jabsco pumps to faster ones...are there?

Any more thoughts or words on a surf system to compete with NSS or Surfgate?

I heard there is a dealer meeting next week in Florida. Maybe something will be announced.

I am trying to decide between the X30 and nautique 230. My MC dealer told me the surf system would retrofit on 14's but that is all he said about it. Not sure if it is his sales tactic or not.

Hoping to see where this goes. Am looking at a 2014 230 as well. Assuming if it retros to '14's it'll retro to 13's.
