Why I love the BTS Windshield

Been a lot of hate for this windshield, but here are the points of why I went with it.

My first impression in pics, OMG, why would anyone get that...

I had a chance to drive an X30 with this windshield and fell in love with it, not only looks, but functionality!

- As you can see in the pic, I am sitting down and have full lateral view, its just like the feeling of riding in your car with the window down.
- I have always sat with the seat bolstered, now I can sit down comfortably without the feeling I am in a hole
- In a big boat, X25 is pretty darn big, gives you a smaller ski boat feel
- Great around the dock or tying up
- Great for circling and talking to your rider
- All from a nice seated/un-bolstered position
- Less glass to clean
- It does not allow really much more wind in on cold days, noticed no difference from my last boat with a full wrap
- Looks sweet in the water with the new 2 point tower - IMO better than the wrap windshield

Let the flames begin

Love that boat! I STILL think the automatic tower is gaudy!

Love this windshield. The functionality around the dock and lift is great, also great for grabbing boards, skis out of the water.

If I recall correctly the BTS is MORE expensive when I was building mine. I do like the way it looks, actually saw MattsCraft's boat 1st hand this past weekend at the buckeye bash and he has one hell of a ride there!

My thought process was since we live in Ohio and our 2 seasons are: winter and almost winter we decided to go with the traditional windshield hoping that will provide a little better pocket to hold in heat from the heater.

Great points - I think it looks sharp. Does it ventilate any better when it is hot out?

Who cares about the windshield, did you find my sunglasses in your glove compartment??
