Hi- my perfect pass works but nothing comes up on the screen. I have only had the boat out 3 times this summer (baby) and it came on the first time in May but not since. Any thoughts or ideas??

Yep known problem with moisture in the gauge. I have one sitting on my workbench that has the same problem. If you leave the cover off with the boat in the sun for a few hours it should dry out and start displaying again. At least that's what mine did.

The fix is to buy another expensive display that is only warrantied for I believe a year.

I had this happen also. Talked with Gary at perfect pass and he told me the same thing about moisture. Inside the actual gauge the moisture gets in the terminals for the brightness setting and the gauge does not display. Get it dried out and it should come back. Mine has now been back up for over two years. If you can take the cover off of the boat and sit out in the sun for a day that should help.

Agree with all above. Definitely moisture in the LCD/LED portion of the gauge. I am ordering a new gague for mine this week. I have noticed it on mine every time I go out after a rain and my cover was on the boat. After a few hours on the water, it would dry out and begin to display again. This year has been so wet for us, that it is finally dead completely.

After talking to the guys at PP several times I am convinced there is no way other than replacing my screen/gauge to fix the problem. Remember you have to get a new chip for the control box as well when replacing the screen. They updated the screens to a different kind of LED/LCD display on the new ones and all the numbers will be upside down if you do not replace the chip when you replace the screen.

I recently experienced the same issue. The screen began working less and less, even with the boat uncovered in the sun for a few days. Finally, I replaced the screen.

@meg - Direct from PP the screen is $199.00, but I had to pay an extra $40 for the chip upgrade/removal tool and $39 shipping so it cost me a total of $278.00. I looked around for a discount code, but couldnt find anything.

I think that's the old 2 line display which if that's what you currently have is fine. I know mine looked like the newer display.....
