1990 trailer Brace

Does everybody else's trailer have this brace. Just wondering because its rubbing my hull when I load. It has a roller on it but I can tell its been added. But I'm kinda thinking the whole brace has been added.

Here's another view to give a better idea where it is.

Is the trailer MC or aftermarket?

Looks like my 88's trailer - but I don't think that has a brace there.

I would consider shimming the bunks up a bit.

Yes it's a MC trailer. I think it was added. That's the reason I was wondering if anybody else's trailer had it, I'm thinking about cutting it out.

My 90 has it. Had to turn the plastic around to keep from scratching the hull

My '89 trailer has it. I also added a roller just before the cross member as it makes loading on our steep ramps easier than the keel cutting into the pad.

Mine has that bar too. Just like Mustangtexas did, I put a keel roller on mine as well. I'll post pics in a trailer thread sometime. Now I can finally repair my keel damage from hitting that stupid thing. I let the pad get too worn down, and gelcoat sure doesn't like metal
Keep a close eye on it!

How is the keel looking? On every 93' that I have seen, the keel roller has done a number on the gelcoat. I did not put a roller on my aftermarket trailer for that very reason. The V guide and bunks should be enough.
