'06 ProStar Back Seats

Hey guys,

Finally got the slalom course in this year, looking to soften up the ski wake on the X9 (I know I said ProStar but it's the same layout). Has anyone removed the entire backseat (including backrest) out of their ProStar/X7/X9? I see there are a few screws, is it that easy or should I avoid the trouble?

I don't think it would give you enough of a difference to be worth the effort. I take the back seat out of my 195 (the easily removable part) to fit buoys and skis in on our way out to the course.

Well curiosity got the better of me. Took all the unnecessary items out of the boat, and the wake softened right up. I would recommend taking it out if only for cleaning purposes, as there was a lot of sand and mold between the seatback and fiberglass.

Threw the TMC shock tube in for you guys

Any other variables? Same amount of gas?

How much did it weigh? How much more than the base?
