New Bilge Pump...

looking to replace my Rule 550 gph bilge pump with one with an automatic sensor or possibly add a float to the one I have. Thumbing through West Marine catalog I can not believe the number of negative reviews for Rule and other automatic pumps as well as floats. I would like to move up to a 1000 gmh model.. what do you recommend and is the amp draw significant? thanks

I would check out this guy. It's a solid pump. I know you want 1000 gph but there is no reason you should need more than 500.

Amazon.com is your friend. Mucho better prices than WM.
