More negative feedback than positive... looks like it will spin longer before smoking - but doesn't pump as hard... maybe a bucket time test by each type...

I think I an just going to stick with the old standard. I don't run the engine dry anyway.

I tend to agree. The softer vanes just don't seem to create as good as of a seal against the pump housing and hence tend to not pump water as well at low speeds.

Doesn't globe make impellars for jabsco pumps too? Just the other day I was wondering if they were any good. Anyone have any experience with those?
