Selling Prostar 205V- Thoughts on Prostar 190 vs 197???

Guys- I just listed my 2002 Prostar 205V in TT Classifieds.

I am looking to move into a pure slalom boat- 2003+ Prostar 190/197. I know there has been some discussion on the these boats separately- but I would love to hear from members who have owned or skied behind both. Are the wakes noticeably different? I thought space would be a bigger issue that it has been and really want the best ski wake I can find.

Appreciate your thoughts in advance.

For pure slalom, stick with the 190. I have a 96 and absolutely love it. The only wake I've skied that's better was my 86 J Craft outboard. That being said, the 197 is not big compromise. I skied behind one at a local ski school and there really wasn't much of a difference, but I'm also not a short line skier.
