Also, doesn't the 2001 xstar have the weird oval in the gelcoat?

No, that's my cursed '99.

I wish it didn't, because I'd love to pull the 'what once was cool' decals off and go with a cleaner look, but I have a black oval gelled into the hull, and that limits my creativity...

If you look at CL, you'll see a bunch of postings with a fake-ish gmail account name listed with a space between it. They are all scams.
I'm a Correct Craft owner but appreciate all inboards and there's some great information on this site!

Fully knowing that this was a scam, as I had seen the exact ad in c.l. In Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, and Dallas, I decided to email for fun. The "gal" told me that she just went through a divorce, and just wanted to get rid of the boat. It had like 240 hours, was in excellent shape, blah blah blah. I asked where it was to view it, and she said she already told me she was going through a divorce, and that it was shrink wrapped in Maine or something. If I wanted to buy it, that she was dealing directly with Google wallet, and if I would like, she could have someone from Google wallet call me to proceed if I gave her my phone number. Lame. I never responded. Any c.l. ad with an email contact of someone@gmail is ALWAYS a scam. I like to have fun with these jerk offs from time to time out of boredom...

I think the legit version of that boat was located in San Diego and was selling for 27-28k a few weeks back (I have a CA-based MC search on Craigslist for some reason). Scam city.
