I can sympathize with the guy. I did the same thing with rim/tires I shipped years ago. The buyer was a jerk who gave me a bad rating because I asked if he could help out with my mistake. A nice donation would be greatly appreciated.

I can too. Sold a drum set on ebay and had to drive the thing to Michigan. There was no way I was paying the shipping. 50% would be generous.

I received a 15-pound vinyl-coated river anchor that looked like it had fallen out of the box and tumbled down the freeway for a bit before the driver picked it up, put it back in the box, did a poor re-taping job and then finally left it on my doorstep. Overton's was great when I called them about the badly damaged delivery and told me they would ship another one right away and to do what I wanted with the damaged one. They didn't want me to send it back. Great customer service. Now I have a spare anchor, although it will probably rust quickly and also get mud stuck in all the torn vinyl coating before it seeps out onto my boat carpet.

Barefoot boom, extension pole, height adjusting bracket and kiddie handle for my boat. I got it installed on the boat last night and my 11 year old is chomping at the bit to get out. Last Saturday she did not know how to barefoot. She went to a clinic and rocked it. She also got up like a pro on a friend's boat on Wednesday. A week later dear old dad is out almost 1000 bucks for gear and a barefoot suit. Well, nothing is too good for my baby, especially if she wants to barefoot, right?
