I'm gonna have to pick up that shadow warrior book. Based on these books you have probably already read "Charlie Wilsons War". If you haven't pick it up. Its about the CIA's involvement with the Afghan freedom fighters in there war against the USSR. Its interesting to read seeing how we are now fighting these same "freedom Fighters".

Unrelated to skiing, but did get an order for my sporting clays addiction(and my sons).

10 bags of shot, 8 lbs powder, 5k primers, 1000 hulls - those are just the reloading supplies - not counting the factory loads needed for competition.

It's just as expensive as boating

Have not read that, but I may add it. My reading revolves around organized crime/mafia, the CIA/US Govt's relationship with the mob, and it's covert war with Cuba (since that's where both my parents are from). I find it amazing that this country was not able to topple a banana republic like Cuba, and moreso that the beloved jfk was such a wimp that we didn't go in and kick the crap out of the communists. if cuba was a huge oil exporter to the us, i guarantee you things would have been different.

I don't, but when I travel to the caribbean, i indulge. I'll try to bring a few back for you from Providenciales in November (all you need to do is replace the labels). Do you prefer Cohiba or Monte Cristo? Note: the gangsters preferred cigar was the MC.

A Cuban Monte Cristo is a fine cigar. If it's good enough for Al Capone, it's good enough for me.
