Teak platform improvements

Was not digging only 2 slats in the middle of the platform. My 14 year old deck was falling apart. I don't think I have a buddy who weighs under 230 so I needed to beef it up. I bought a 6ft section of 1x2 teak and added 3 more cross braces. I also sanded down the whole platform and applied three coats of starbrite teak oil. My sportstar is ready for some action now.

I went to a lumberyard downtown houston that sells fine hardwood. It cost me 23 bucks for 1x2 by 6ft of teak.
