2006 X45 - is this a good deal?

Hello All - I am setup to go look at a 2006 X45 tomorrow. It is a private seller who is the original owner. It has the 8.1 engine. I saw this boat on my lake a couple of years ago and it looked great at that time. The owner has only been out with it three times in the past two summers. I don't know the hours on it yet. The number that he gave me was $40000. From my research, this looks like a really good price. Of course, still need to check it out thoroughly and go for a water test.

This is really a lot more boat than I was looking for, but this seems like a good deal. My boat now is a 20', so 4 more feet is a big jump in size.

Any thoughts on the price? How much gas can I expect to burn in an hour with that 8.1 (cruising and wakeboarding)?

Thanks.

TTU - Nice try, loose lips sink good deals.

Scott - I know that it has a full cover, hot/cold shower, 3 ballast tanks, and fold down tower. That is all of the options that I know about so far.

The shower is the only thing listed there that is an option. The rest are standard on the X Series.

Note, I guess you could order without a cover, but I don't think many do.
