By the way, you have added to my phobia of losing a windshield to a rock while towing. I will be making a windshield cover this winter.

My neighbor suggested big, long, black mud flaps with the chrome naked ladies on them...

Even though I think those are cool I wont be doing that anytime soon to my Avalanche...

I'll post pics (or it didn't happen).

It will be Sunbrella that snaps on the windshield snaps. I am still thinking about what to use for padding. Something 1/8" to 1/4" thick that is dense enough to protect and cheap enough for me to buy.

Ouch. I'm surprised something got up that high to break it behind your tow vehicle.

I'm thinking of like a blindfold for the boat. I am worried the most about rocks from other vehicles.

I was surprised as well. That's why I think it was the car that passed me doing 75 mph on a two lane. He prob kicked it up in such a way to hit my center window!

Wow! Four days later you are back in business and for only $52! That could't have worked out much better.

Good for you! Want me to come over and help you fit one of those RV "broomie" things under your rear bumper? I can pick up a couple of the Chrome go go girls from Hi-Way Distributers on my way.

I think a combination of both should do the trick!
