Stolen Mastercraft
Hi All,
I have a travesty to report. Some of you might have read about a Mastercraft jump boat I found in a barn in south central Wisconsin. (for those who are unfamiliar, 12' long, outboard. ie, caddy shack and Tommy Bartlett boats). I had it repainted with candy red and white metal flake paint. I took it to a Corvette specialist as he promised me a flawless job on fiberglass. Engine was not yet mounted and hull had no VIN. Was stolen OFF OF a trailer on Saturday night. It is an original design which should be easy to tell. One wide 3 foot stripe front to back(red on white), both topside and hull with 4 large white stars both top and bottom. Side graphics feature 'disco-esque' 'Mastercraft' which is not dissimilar to original. Custom interior is one bench seat, seating two with micro-stitched stars (red on pearl). HAS MERCURY throttle pillar and wiring harness...was 8 hours from being mated with outboard. If anyone in the midwest sees a jump boat, please see if this matches my description.  Man that blows. It would be like a dream to find a boat like that in a barn. Must be like a nightmare to have it taken like that. I hope you recover your boat. Would be nice to catch the responsible party also.

Jason, I hate that for you. It should be an easy one to spot though as those are pretty rare these days. Hope you find her!

That really really stinks! I'll keep an eye out here also.
I wonder if you could send a mass-emailing to MC dealerships around the country? Just a thought.
