Picked up my first boat and Mastercraft - 1992 Prostar 190

New member and first time posting. Yesterday I became a boat owner and picked up a 1992 Mastercraft Prostar 190. I ran across the listing on Craigslist and it seemed too good to be true! The boat only has 290 hours and is in good condition. Few things to fix and address, pictured below, but for the price I think I did well. Boat came with six life jackets, fire extinguisher, fly high pole, fat sac w pump, older skis, and bimini top. Ended up getting it for $7200 after negotiating the price.

Picture heavy post below!

Front, side, and rear view. Boat was originally from Florida used only in fresh water. It made its way back to Wisconsin and has sat at the owners cabin. He lives out of state so it was used very little.

The cup holder area on the engine cover is pretty beat up. Would like to swap this out in the future.

The back seat and carpet area is coming apart. When driving it home, I removed the rear cushions and the wind was catching underneath the seat / rug causing it to puff out. Tried stapling these down today but the wood isn't very solid. The cushion and seat itself is in great shape.

The dash needs some work. The previous owner put a screw / nut into the dash to try and hold it in place The original screws holes on each side of the dash are busted. Perfect Pass was included. Looking for opinions on how to fix the dash if anyone has ideas.

Speakers and CD deck need an upgrade. Working but dated.

Missing the hinge link from the storage compartment.

Engine was clean and started for us after swapping the battery. Few leaks to address. One of the hoses (top one) pictured in picture two and one from the SilentMaster unit itself.

Trailer is missing the Mastercraft pads that go over the poles on the trailer and one side is missing the pole entirely. I'm not sure what happened in picture first picture but I'll need to see if I can bend that back into place. Tires will need to be replaced at some point in time.

The siding behind the driver seat is sticking out causing the storage compartment not to sit completely flush.

Prop has a few decent size dents. Not sure if I'm looking at a complete replacement or potential for repair.

Two softer spots in the flooring that I noticed. One being infront of the engine cover and one behind it. With a little tlc I think I'll have a solid boat for years to come! Look forward to learning and interacting on the forums.

I picked up the exact same boat, but red. I love it, and know you will also. I am also interested in some of the answers you get on fixing a few things.

Looks good. Congrats!

Thank you for confirming they appear off and it wasn't just my set of drunk eyes...

Anyone had issues with the SilentMaster leaking water? Thinking about trying some Bondo 420 Fiberglass Resin Repair Kit or Marine-Tex on it.
