Part of my distance towing check list. take about 5 minutes. Also check your air while you're at it.

Great thread! Hand torquing is the way to go.....especially on aluminum wheels. Torque wrenches don't need to be expensive.

Harbor Freight has them on sale now........ $15.99 marked down from $34.99
$10.99 with coupon http://www.harborfreight.com/

Surprisingly most aluminum wheels get over-torqued. Typically 85# is the correct setting for aluminum trailer wheels. Steel wheels usually a little more.

Also remember to re-torque 50-75 miles later. There is almost always one lug that needs tightening.

Two Chrome 10 hole wheels with Kenda Loadstar radials.
Mounted, balanced & delivered.
With ST205/75R14..........$309
With ST215/75R14..........$346

CARBURETOR REBUILDING - $199 Parts, labor & return shipping included
Holley Marine 4160 Freshly Rebuilt $349 - Delivered (no core charge)
