I never understood why boat companies don't change the models over during winter time. The new year should mark the new models... then they don't have to sit on anything in the summer when new boats come out. Never made sense why car/boat models come out in the middle of the year prior to their model year.

That is the motor option cost.

Standard MasterCraft Starting Price for all boats.

Maybe there is just nothing to say. I'm on the rag big time today and this is ticking me off. Just show us the freaking boats.

Keep in mind promo boats are usually purchased boats, and the property of each individual. They are not loaners or dealer demo boats.

As a buyer, I would love to see the new design as well. But from a business perspective, I would want to clear as much inventory from 2013 as possible before releasing the 2014. Granted, most 197s are made to order now, but there is roughly $6 million in Team boat inventory about to hit the market that could be tough to sell if the 2014 is released too early...assuming there is something new to release.

Just a thought...or there is no new model, or it's not ready, or it's a bare bones $35,000 3-event boat, or it's a $100,000 3-event boat, or it's all kept quiet just to create buzz! Funny thing...there's quite a bit of buzz considering nothing official is coming from the Company itself.

That would be fine "IF" they would just tell us when they are going release it. The problem is they just dropped the "46" on us July 1st, which probably hurt some 35,45,55 sales, so here in lies the problem. MC can and does launch new models mid season. So based on past experience we are all standing around waiting for the "other shoe to drop". Soooo... the Prostar market is polarized.

It's been 13 years already...what's another few months...or years.

I've convinced myself that it will be too pricey anyway. If they managed to double the price of the 197 since it rolled out, using the same hull, I hate to see what the sticker shock will be when they actually make a hull change.

easier to clear old inventory during selling season while the new stuff is coming out then in winter.
