Tower speakers not working

I have a 2006 X-star with 4 Sylvan tower speakers. None of them are working. Need help on troubleshooting the problem and what to check first. Thanks.....

I just pulled new wire for my tower speakers which can cure several problems. But first, check amp fuses. Check speaker wiring at the amp to make sure it hasn't pulled loose. The factory wiring is way too small and tends to have several bullet connections (any of which could have pulled apart), so not a bad idea to pull new , uncut, wire for the speakers if that wasn't done prior. Check for a pinch at your tower pivot if you ever lay the tower down.

I just had this problem with my 4 tower speakers. None of them were working. I tried everything and looked everywhere. Finally I took it to a local stereo shop. Turns out my amp was shot. Hopefully you find something less minor like a wire coming disconnected etc.
