Radar Lyric for an 8 year old

I was curious if anyone had an opinion on competeition ski's for kids. My daughter is almost 8 years old and is tearing it up on her slalom ski and I want to buy her something a little more aggressive. I was looking at the Radar lineup and the Lyric 63.5 inch ski stood out. There was another ski in that size that they offered but she didn't like the graphics and the brochure said that this one was more advanced. We free ski during the week and have access to a course on the weekends. Any opinions and or experience with this would be helpful. I would like to purchase it this week as her birthday is coming up.

Radar makes a heck of a ski.

So does D3.

I've heard tell that the 64" goods are pretty useful - if you can get the right $, they don't weight very much.
