Thats what i was forgetting, i just had to replace our prop and upgraded to a 1285 from acme. It pops you outa the water better, the boat runs better (bottom and top end), and honestly the wake seems slightly cleaner and fatter. Just be careful with shoulder sockets and it tops out 4 mph higher but it will hit limiter.

I will increase the speed next time I go out and ride. That may make a big difference.
Ear to ear smiles is right... I cant get enough, just need to start pulling off tricks so i dont get burnt out and go stale.

Got some pics from surfing during the beautiful 4th of july weather.

The clean wave

And some surfing... Trying to learn how to get air.

Sliding sideways.

The Sacs came in, maybe it will stop raining long enough to try them.

It was pretty nice, would have been a little cleaner if Bos foot wasnt dragging in the water... That was 11 people in the boat. Im hoping to try the sacs in the morning but so far its been good for a small boat.

Nice wake and good technique. Last night I finally was able to ride the wake without the need for the rope - finally!!! A big part of my problem was having too much weight back and not enough forward on the board. Once I realized how to increase my board speed, the light finally went on. Hoping for good weather today. Go away rain!!!

Our wake is decent size with all stock ballast and 5 ppl on board.

Mossy - do you have surf tabs? There is a surf tab thread trending on the general page. I am wondering if they would help on the X15

I do not, we have added a 750# in the locker and a 400# under the port seat since that pic was taken. I would like to add them and i know the wife would so we could level the boat better when we arent moving. It gets a little sketchy with a lot of weight on one side. But now we're looking at upgrading to a 30 or 46.

Does CO make anyone else nervous about riding the swim platform or is it just me?
