If it needs a good scrubbing: on an old boat I used a toilet brush duck taped to a short pole so that I could scrub in places I could not otherwise reach. That boat looked like the PO did not clean the bilge in 15 years.

Combinations work great too. Key is to let it agitate in the bilge.

I have noticed that the center KGB bag is slimy so I would assume using some simple green on it would help. I have a feeing the bilge has never been cleaned.

I dont think the bilge in my last boat had EVER been cleaned out until I had it, made several attempts with all the previous mentioned stuff, decided to try some engine degreaser and it worked like a charm.. tested on a small area first of course then let the foam stay on for 10-15mins before rinsing off..

My bilge smells like someone stuffed a dead hooker down there. Good tip on the Totally Awesome. I'll give that a go.

wipe it out after every trip. Lol

I poured a 5 gallon of purple power and added water. Went for a long ride to the gas station. came back. drained. filled with water with hose and drained again......pretty now
