When the level is high, the lake's banks are more vulnerable to erosion.

I pulled my docks out here on the Rock River anticipating all of the water (and debris) coming from southern WI. So far, looks like it was a good move. It's high, but not closed at this point. Current forecast is for a crest right at flood stage or slightly above, so no big deal really in the long term. Just a couple of weeks off the river...I'm spoiled with the private lake access so I'm not sweating it.

I drove by Little Muskego Lake today (Wed 6-26-13) and there were boats out on it. Is Lake Nagawicka or any other lake in that area closed?

Tomahawk got whacked with a nasty hailstorm this afternoon. 10 minutes of quarter size hail. Mohawksin is full but it's water level never changes much.

Dad's cabin is on Nokomis (Technically Bridge Lake) which gets so low I can barely get the fishing boat to the cabin some years. And because of stumps/etc....(well staining too) I don't even leave the MC in the water nor drive it to the cabin... Launch, use, pull daily.

Still need to test drive (set timing) after the rebuilt carb, conversion to electronic distrib, new fuel lines, pump, filter, etc...

Thought I heard last night we got 10" of rain is SE Wisconsin this month? Whoa!

The Rock Aqua Jay's water ski show on the Rock River in Janesville, WI was canceled do to high water. They are in the process of looking for another site because of the high water.
