"Driver." I have had "Hit it" mistaken for "not yet" and "let's go" mistaken for "no."

"Okay [name of boat driver]" works well, too.

Also fond of "Let it happen, Cap'n" or "I'll follow you."

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Most of my guys just nod their head when the line gets tight when they first get in. After that its just as soon as the line gets tight. Most of the time never even have to put it in reverse for them.

Lets go boys, up, yep, head nod if music is playing.

Normally it's a hot pickup line tight and then driver takes off. We don't do the whole get ready to get ready adjust everything like a golfer.

Yea, my thumb is generally up before I have the handle in my hand. Tends to make it easier on the boat driver if he does not have to sit in the water with any propulsion trying keep the boat lined up. I hate when you have a good cross wind and the rider is screwing around in the water while you have to fight to keep the boat from spinning. I take my time coming back around so there is not much reason for anyone but a beginner not to be ready by the time the line is tight.
