Jabsco Pump Info

I recently changed my impellers and lost one of the top plate screws in the bilge. I looked everywhere but it bounced and I could not find it. Today I figured out it is a 12-24 thread 3/8 long made of brass. I also found out the pumps are made by Xylem and the website has some good info on the pumps.

This info may have been posted before but I thought I would post anyway to help someone.

I am searching for brass hex head cap screws for easier removal and install. If I find any I will post it up.

You can get the screws here in slotted round head.

I would avoid stainless or steel screws as your more likely to strip the threads of the pump head.

Home Depot believe it or not. Slotted round head. Had to replace broken one on raw water pump.

I am going to try and find socket head cap screws, it would be much easier than the slotted screw. I plan to get them in brass only. Might be a hard find but we have a bolt and nut vendor looking for me.

I tried a specialty but and bolt. Hope you have more luck than I did. Slotted round head in brass worked fine if no luck.
