Ignition protected? Isn't that why the jabsco and Johnsons are so expensive

Good luck with it, but at 300 gallons per hour that pump would take almost 40 minutes to fill my surf sac.

It's not even half of what the other 2 can do.

Point being if you want to try it go right ahead - but it is way cheaper to go to HF than a rebranded equivalent - and considering that you can see that it is even the same picture (see the haze from the red clip on the right)

1) those are not ignition protected
2) just because a DPDT switch can be used to reverse the motor, doesnt make it a reversible pump. Contact Jabsco or Johnson and ask them. They make impeller pumps that are only intended to move water in one direction.

Id give it one season of regular use. And I agree with 88 PS190, it looks like the photo-shop'd out the handle and battery clips and shop'd in their logo.

dang you guys are def right. It is a rebrand of a harbor freight pump!

Hmm not being ignition proected might be a big of a problem as i planned on install it in the same factory location as the x1 pumps are (back transom behind the panel). Probably not safe to have something that isnt ignition protected.

That's a pretty good price on the jabsco. I was thinking that it usually cost more than the Johnson.
