Insurance Question: 2006 MC X2

Everyone,

I just purchased my first MC! My insurance company is requesting the est worth of the hull, engine and trailer (single axle).

Any help on the values you would place on each for my 2006 X2?

Thanks!

Under $40k.. I just have no clue what percent needs to go to the hull and the motor.. I can value the trailer around $1500.

So if someone steals your trailer, insurance company will give you $1,500. Have you looked at the cost of replacement trailers? MC's are $6-8k...

I'm all for cheap(er) insurance. Just have to be careful..

well I am pretty sure I know this. since being a insurance agent only "outboards" have separate pricing for the boat, motor and trailer.

your boat value includes the engine.

Agreed. Have never had to value an engine over many boat. Have had to give HP on all.
