Well Dang it ALL

After finally getting back up on my wakeboard last week (I suffered a bad concussion and vertigo last fall from a WTW jump) I have fractured my left tibial plateau. NO-not on the wakeboard but got kicked in both legs by a horse.

Am I ever going to get going again!

Both of those sound extremely painful! Hope you have a quick recovery and before summer is over!

Doctor is saying 3 months "Non Weight Bearing" after the initial Xray. I had a CT Scan and will get results tomorrow. I just can't miss the whole summer on the water. I've been waiting since August 17, 2012 to get back out there. I hope to hear better news at tomorrows appointment to discuss results of scan.

Horses are mean. I've been bitten several times. I'd not want to get kicked by one. Hope you're up again soon. In the meanwhile, always fun to drive.

Friend of mine (girl) got up for the first time on a wakeboard behind my boat, fell after about 20 feet and fractured a tibial plateau on the fall. She was in a wheelchair for damn near 6 months after 7 screws to fix it!

Tough deal on getting kicked. Your horse? I never had problems when I owned horses, but my ex got thrown hard once and was pretty banged up. It only takes a second.
