June 6, 1944

With D-day coming up, I figured it was a good time to say thanks to those who served, and still do serve today. My grandfather served in the war, as I'm sure many of your parents, and grandparents did as well. This was quite the accomplishment for America as a country. RIP to all of those who lost their lives.

agree! My dad flew in a B24 over Europe during WWII, 51 missions accomplished. Thanks to all who served and are serving to protect our freedoms and way of life!!!

No family members involved that I know of, but I was married on that date, 31 years ago. She's still here!
