Given that it's boat selling season and I have strict requirements (mid-90s open bow), it's a limited market for me PerfectPass can be a Christmas present for a winter install, along with the fender repair.

Is it possible to repair seams on that seat, or will it need to be reupholstered? The foam seems to be in fine shape and there's no sag in the bench.
For a 90s open bow, there may not have been a better one for slalom. But, again, I haven't skied a 195. Solid motor. Low hours. Have fun!

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

I think that is a reasonable price give the low hours, barefoot boom, bimini, and good shape mastercraft cover. I think the cover is $700+ to buy new. Trailer and teak seem in good shape too. I like the color scheme. Go for it and enjoy, given you like it.

Seems like a good price to me. Hope that isn't Hammer's boat.

If you can get down to high 13s or 14K final price I think you will have done pretty well for yourself. Not as versatile as the 205 hull but should slalom better. I certainly looked at the few of these that were around when I bought.
The 195 evolved from the '95 Prostar hull - as did the 2nd generation 205. I would think it may be close to as versatile. A little smaller.

He is right in my neck of the woods, but I believe he has a 2001 and the seller is not a member on TT. Looking forward to skiing with him sometime this year, so I hope he's not selling!

The 195 is the 95--97 190 hull. The 205 is an evolution of that hull. I think the 195 will throw a better slalom wake than the 96--2000 205 hull if the 95--97 190 is any indication. The question in my mind is how the open bow affects the weight distribution.

No matter what, it will be better than the I/Os I've been skiing behind my whole life!

It'll be a great boat. 95--97 190 hull is among the best.

And the boss (wife) loved it. I made the 195 out to be a sardine can compared to similar sized I/Os, but she didn't seem phased.
