Teak platform...What is it worth?

I've purchased a new solid teak platform from Teak World and was wondering what my old platform would be worth. The last plank had some work done to it by the previous owner and I had another wood working shop reinforce it but there is definitely some weakness to the last piece such that I cringe when people jump off it.

Anyways, I was wondering if it would be worth selling or just keep and make into a bench or something around the house. What would you do, sell (asking price?) or keep?

Keep it and refinish and make a bar table...or hold onto if someone is looking for one for their MC...where are the pics of the new one?

My vote goes for a bench mounted to the wall against a large photo of the rear of a MasterCraft sitting in the water...seems like a nice place to rest in the garage while drinking a cool refreshing adult beverage and tinkering with your boat?

I would be interested in buying it (no idea on value). Where is Texas do you live?

I'll second that. My platform is in my garage on couple of double stacked milk crates in preparation for refinishing. I've spent more time sitting on it having beverages than sanding it.

I haven't received it yet, I'll post it once it is oiled up and on the ol girl.

I live in New Braunfels. I'm not sure the value either.

Keep it - repair it - If just the end is on the loose side. Show a picture of the underside. probably needs cross members to reinforce... Makes a cool basement table - Saw one somewhere -

In it's current state with you could probably sell for $100 - fix it and oil it up and the value will jump. these decks can last a very long time.

I'd keep it, do a little work on it (or not) and trade it back out to the boat as OEM before you sell it. Keep the new board for the next boat. Those platforms will fit a variety of hulls with the same configuration. I bought one last year that was for a 2000 era 205. It fit my 93 190 perfectly. The X series in that general vicinity era is also the same hull radius for fit.
