Big D Boat Club

So, they're advertising heavily on the radio here in DFW for Bg D Boat Club...

http://bigdboatclub.com/

I'll stand aside and let the debate begin, this is such a crazy bad idea, I am not sure where to begin! LOL

There's one of these in nashville called the nashville boat club. Not for me, but might not be too bad of a deal if you don't want to deal with maintenance.

Not counting gas and the project I embarked on last season to fully restore my boat, I think my ownership has been less that that...

I'm just thinking about the weekend wally factor too...

They have a few of these in Atlanta. I don't get it unless you can't turn a wrench and dont want to do your own maintenance or just don't want to deal with pulling your boat to the lake. Just buy a used Mastercraft and sell it later and make most of your money back if you get bored with it.

Call me a snob, but I'm not all that impressed with their "fleet." For their starting membership price, you can own a nice, gently used MC.

Nothing new on lake Lewisville, at least. There was a boat and jet ski rental company out of East Hill Park for several years. Take a look at any of the rental boats and you will quickly see a lot of dock rash, If they can't handle a boat in a now wake area at slow speeds, I can only imagine what it would be like with a rider in tow. It is best to give these rental boats a lot of space on the water.

I work for boomerang boat Club on Lake Lewisville. All I'll say about our boats is that that we keep BoatTowUS in buisness!
