Looks like a construction Connex box with the windows/doors cut into it. Kind of a neat idea.....

Very interesting, but I think a strong wind would tip this over on it's side.

These are shipping containers .. yes .. super cheap and can turn them cheap into something. After Reading they are generally set on 12" concrete pillars about 3" in ground and then bolted down

That would make them plenty secure. Sure would be an inexpensive way to get into a lake place. With shutters over the windows, security would be simple.

Sure... only most lakes tend towards the 4000 sq foot custom home with no detached structures and no trucks parked in driveways.... I've never understood that game.

Paint it camo. They'll never notice.

FAQ

Tyler Ski Club

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

I like it!

Anytime I debate investing in ski lake property I always pull up the HOA's restrictions. Hate those things.

If I ever have the scratch I'll build a private lake with nothing but shacks and pole barns. It will have concrete slabs with trailer power/water hook ups - and local colleges/clubs would be welcome to rent reasonably... Skiers are so.. exclusionary.
