Trailer Pulled Out, but would not reverse

Strangest thing, pulled boat out of garage, Washed and waxed it.
Backed it up in the garage, half way, let it sit over night and tried to back it
in today, but it was locked up. It would not move. Pulled it forward twice, and still couldn't go in reverse. A storm was coming so I basically bounced it in.
I plan on hooking it up in the morning, driving forward and seeing if it will go in reverse, if not then start to Rambo.

Did you have the wiring harness hooked up?

It moved today with no issues. Guess I just needed to reboot.

I did a little roll forward and back and the trailer seemed to move o.k.
So I reconnect and pulled it forward about 5 feet and then backed up.
No issues, then went 10 feet, again no issues. I pulled it completely
out and all seems normal. I had a small zip tie around the tongue to hold
the electric cable/hook up from hanging down. I cut it because it had
slid up and may have been interferring with the ball lock sitting down
completely.
Anyway, thanks for help and I hope I don't have it happen again.
Just like a computer, reboot and start all over.
Dual Axle trailer has disc. One of the brakes had locked up about 3 years ago,
and had to have it replaced. I'm glad it was that same issue over again.

you'll need to have the lights connected to activate the solenoid which re-routes the brake fluid and does not allow the brakes to engage. The issue is the surge brake is being depressed when the vehicle pushes it. If you push it with your hands it will roll freely.

If those are the original brakes and you have Reliable components I'd be looking at replacing the rest of the calipers. They were know for freezing and were replaced by Reliable and MasterCraft dealers under warranty back in the day.

I had an 03 X2 that I bought used. Had one of the calipers freeze, called Reliable and they sent me two calipers and a Master Cylinder for the actuator for free. They went out of business (at least for trailer components) the next year. It would be a lot better to check them now than have one freeze on you're when you're out on the highway somewhere.
