I was deployed and still am. I get to come home in a week or so and I have two trips planned to Tenkiller Lake in Eastern Oklahoma. I can NOT wait!

After that, it was skiing and boating on the Brazos, where I ran into Snork... He's such a great wakeboarder!

That is really cool! I also love hearing stories like that. Makes it all worth it. How old was her son?

I should have started this forum with a BIG THANK YOU to all service men and women for what you do so we can live the way we live.

It might be 55.... My brother and I went this last weekend in between rain showers. Lets just say I am still waiting for "them" to drop back down where "they" belong...

Water was 76 at Beaver Lake in Arkansas this weekend. I bought this X1 in south Texas on Thursday and spent the whole weekend on the water playing. It was great. We tried to surf, but the ballast pump on the port side was not working. Took it apart last night and found out it was the impeller. We improvised and had people hanging off the side of the boat. It worked ok. Only one of the girls was light enough to actually surf, but we all had fun trying!

Thanks, guys! Her son is 10. You shoulda seen how frustrated he was getting that he wasn;t getting up... Until we started cheering him on - then it was ok to faceplant! he did ski for several times for about 40-50 feet, so he knows he can do it, he just got tired. we had trainer doubles for him btw. We'll get him up in the next few weeks.
