x-45 Surf Setup

Looking for how to dial in a consistent surf wake on an x-45. About 1 out of every 3 times we go, we are getting a great wake, but i find we have to regularly mess with sacs, locations, ballast fill, etc. We ride at 10.8mph, port ballast full, kgb half full, and a 550# sac in the port locker. Depending on number of people in the boat, and how much fuel, sometimes its enough, sometimes not. Looking for advice from experienced surfers on an x-45, what's your preferred setup?

The best way to surf consistently is to run an 1100lb sac in the rear locker. You will need to remove the carpeted panel in the back of the locker (we typically carpet the inside of the hull to create a finished off appearance when the bag is empty). With this set up you won't need any midship ballast aside from the factory KGB tank.

Best for us is factory hard tank filled one side, the KGB filled. Then 1100 in the locker and if riding port a 500 on top of the cooler location seat.
