Why doesn't MC do this from the factory???

My boat came with the heatercraft heat system from the factory and the OEM fan motor burned up along with the fin tube leaking. So over the winter I bought a new unit and found out it has three fan settings but he ACC switch is a single throw switch. I was able to get an ANC switch which is a double throw ON-OFF-ON so I was able to wire up two fan speeds.

Maybe the newer boats have take advantage of the three fan speeds.

Off is considered a speed in many instances. So technically you have three speeds. Off, low and high.

I'll be honest I don't know how often I'll want one speed vs another but it wasn't hard to set it up this way so why not?
